Rich in colour and minerals!

Spirulina is blue-green algae, it is considered a superfood due to its excellent nutritional value.  Its main active component is called phycocyanin. This antioxidant substance also gives spirulina its unique blue-green color.

Add spirulina to your green smoothies! It's a good way of getting those vitamins and giving your smoothie a natural sea green colour

Spirulina has a high amount of protein and vitamins such as Vit B1, B2,B3, B5, B6 and folate, these vitamins are involved in converting energy from food.

It also contains dietary minerals that include calcium, iron, copper, manganese, magnesium and iron plus it contains fatty acids. It is highly antioxidant and has anti-inflammatory activity. Phycocyanin can fight free radicals and inhibit production of inflammatory signaling molecules.

It may improve your levels of blood lipids by lowering LDl and increasing HDL. It can also suppress oxidation, reduce blood pressure, enhance endurance of exercise, and improve energy level in people with chronic fatigue syndrome. It may also reduce blood sugar.
