Delicious and Nutritious Smoothies

Here are some of my favourite smoothies- the best part is they are equally nutritious as they are delicious! Enjoy


Anti-inflammatory smoothie


· 1 cup fresh pineapple


· 1 cup frozen or fresh mango


· 1–1 1/2 cups cold water or any milk substitute as almond or coconut milk


· 1 teaspoon coconut oil


· 1 teaspoon peeled, chopped fresh ginger


· 1 teaspoon turmeric powder


· Can ad protein powder (optional)


Put all the ingredients in blender and blend then enjoy

Turmeric contains a yellow-colored chemical called curcumin that is known to have anti inflammatory properties. Some studies suggest that can help relieve pain associated with inflammations such as arthritis. (read all about Turmeric)

Ginger and pineapple have anti-inflammatory properties as well




Super green smoothie


· 1cup spinach


· ½ peeled and cored granny smith apple


· ½ cup pineapple chunks


· 1 banana


· Fresh mint leaves (adjust to your taste)


· 1/3 cup of parsley


· 1/3 romaine lettuce


· 1 tsp of spirulina


· 1 cup coconut water or filtered water


Blend all the ingredients in a blender and enjoy

This smoothie is super nutritious, detoxifying and support you with energy
